you can buy IPO share through bank or securities company from where you have obtained DMAT, though its easier if you update your meroshare account. For information regarding IPO issue visit https://www.sebon.gov.np/ipo-pipeline or news site like sharesansar, merolagani or follow our Facebook page

Sir, please advise me that what would be happen when total cash collateral is less than buying amount or net amount payable by client? What is the solution about it.

Normally we can place order 4 times of collateral, so most of the time payable amount is more than the collateral. The remaining payable amount to be deposit in a broker account via Connect IPS or any other medium.

How do I buy a share

I bought 100 shares in 2068 (so 2007) at 500 per share, and now in Purchase Source, It starts from 2015 and says you had 250 shares in demat as of 2015_10_10. How do I fill in purchase price for WACC calculation? I think it is 100×500 gives 50,000 plus remaining shares 100×100 to give 10,000, so total is 60,000. Then purchase price is total price divided by number of shares, so 60,000 divided by 250 to give 240 as purchase price for that 250 block shares. Am I correct?

your calculation is correct but considers the remaining share 150 instead of 100,
      i.e 250 ((100*500)+(150*100))/260

as per the new T+2 settlement system, the share should have been debited on the next day of T+2 i.e 3rd (business) day of the transaction.

We are allowed to sell a share only to the extent of balance available in our DP(as reflected in mero share).so we can sell a share only after listing in the primary market.(allotted—Listing—-sales)

thats very common nowadays. they dont send you those transfers, brokers forget it. but if we dnt transfer thats our fault we should pay the shortage charge. we have to pay for their mistakes. thats how it is. if transfer doesnt com in mero share u need to go to brokers office and fill up a DIS slip and submit. it doesnt matter wether if it is a lockdown or nisedhagya. they will charge us for their mistake.

if you are holding your share in dematerialized form (share reflect in your Demat account or mero share account), then renew your Demat and sell share through brokers. if you are holding physical certificate then visit the capital (issue manager) of such company to convert in Dmat form
